I’ve gotten to work with my friends and favorite musicians on their gig posters. Here are a few of them.
West Coast Tour 2019
Inspired by the references to vintage video games in their song Extralife, I set out to create a new pixelated dimension evocative of how 1980s Nintendo makes us feel.
The Mann Center, Philadelphia, 2018
Mac Demarco has built a beloved carefree persona, and I wanted to reflect that vibe while paying homage to Philadelphia and some of the things that define the city.
Stage AE, Pittsburgh, 2018
A modern take on a pieta painting. Only, this haloed Courtney is cradling her guitar instead of the body of Christ.
Ongoing music series, Hog River Brewing, Hartford
Inspired by old-school country posters, I used icons and bold text to construct a feeling that can equate to electrifying twang.
Asbury Lanes, Asbury Park, 2018
A hodgepodge of illustrations that make reference to lyrics on the album b’lieve i’m goin down.
Grand Opening, 2019
Bloomsday’s logo features a siren, so I wanted to incorporate one in their grand opening poster. Only, since they focus on natural wine and coffee, I figured she should be pouring some of each out for the homies… or sunken sailors.
